RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT
OF HUMANITY

Reckless-Endangerment-of-Humanity

INTRODUCTION

Reckless endangerment of humanity has become urgent in the sense that it is more prevalent than ever before on a global scale.  World domination is rising with many attempting to undermine freedom and usher in enslavement towards a desired goal.

We have had Two World Wars in an effort to establish freedom as we know it; are we headed for Number Three to maintain that freedom?  In the Two World Wars God was a factor in victory against those seeking to enslave; will He continue to be a factor after having cast Him aside rather than honor Him above everything else?

Reckless Endangerment of Humanity
Pathway Offered

Reckless endangerment of humanity has evolved through such names as Socialism and Marxism, cousins to Communism; Critical Race Theory (CRT), the Great Reset Plan, instituted by the World Economic Forum; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) transformation; to name but a few, that would upset the normality of life.

Included in the spin-off of evil is a drive to maintain legalized abortion, homosexuality, same sex marriage, and transgenderism as a way of life. Goals include: Discredit family as an institution; control of the schools to use as tools for promoting ungodly agenda; eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them violation of free speech and free press.

Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography in books, magazines, motion pictures, and TV; Infiltrate the press, gain control of key positions in government, radio, TV, and motion pictures; infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with social religion. Can any nation, or person, allow enslavement to agenda that would diminish or eliminate freedoms presently enjoyed?

Fires of Freedom

Franklin D. Roosevelt noted: If the fires of freedom and civil liberties burn low in other lands, they must be made brighter in our own.  If in other lands, the press and books and literature of all kinds are censored, we must redouble our effort here to keep them free.  If in other lands the eternal truths of the past are threatened by intolerance, we must provide a safe place for their continuation. Words of the past often leap out when we see the reckless endangerment of humanity threating that which has been warned against.

We are witnessing a progressive cultural change in lands that previously embraced the very nature of God; His precepts and commandments, rather than casting aside what is perceived a better and more comfortable way.  Strict adherence to God's Unadulterated (Pure) Word is not a suggestion but a must if God's protective hand is to be revealed when heinous acts toward humanity being pursed. Are we witnessing what Franklin D. Roosevelt warned against?

A Deceptive Fallacy

It was noted that where there is no fear of God, no reverence for God, every evil can and will abound.  The idea that we humans will be good without God is a deceptive fallacy.  When people are devoid of the knowledge and wisdom that come from believing God and having reverence for Him, they become morally corrupt, exceedingly evil, violent and destructive.

Eventually kingdoms crumble because they ascended to dominance on the shaky foundation of human ingenuity, political intrigue, and selfish interest.  Many nations are experiencing such drama play out with the reckless endangerment of humanity becoming a reality rather than avoided.  In some cases, the peaceful days of earlier years are now becoming delusional rather than a reality.

Pathway of Destruction

Destruction-of-the-Wicked

Are we increasingly entering a pathway of destruction?  It was noted that we live in a culture that is increasingly hostile to God and many have dismissed God from their lives. No individual, and no nation, will be good without God.  Nations ancient and modern have been wicked and cruel, and have inflicted unspeakable misery on humankind because they rejected the one true living God.

Reckless endangerment of humanity becomes a factor when those words are seen as a reality.  Ronald Reagan noted: Peace is more than just the absence of war; true peace is justice, true peace is freedom; and true peace dictates the recognition of human rights.  Rather than seeing such flourish, we are seeing the taking away of those rights.

The only true peace comes from the Peace-Giver, the Lord Jesus Christ, who said: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world give, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).  Jesus further acknowledged: You shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you be not troubled, for all these things must come to pass (Matthew 24:6).  Reckless endangerment of humanity is a reality, but as little David facing the giant Goliath realized who his deliverer was; so do we, when we have the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and Peace Giver.

Bearer of Bad News

It was noted that it had to be difficult for Jeremiah always having to be the bearer of bad news, and always being rejected.  Jeremiah was continually mocked by the people for bringing nothing but words of condemnation. Jeremiah's words enraged the people.  He challenged their social and moral behavior.  He held his ground and was not afraid to give them unpopular criticism.

Today is the same; there are those who are giving humanity's vilest nature what they want to hear, justification to do exactly as they please with no regard to a day of reckoning. God has His Watchmen sounding the alarm, exposing the hypocrisies of today, as the reckless endangerment of humanity paves its way into the lives of many; each individual must make a choice; with what "thus saith the Lord" or the hypocrisies of those seeking to dominate and control.

Heart Not Right
Toward God

The Psalmist wrote: Their heart (addressing Israel of old but could refer to any nation of today) was not right (steadfast) with him (God), neither were they faithful in his covenant (law) (Psalm 78:37).  There has been a growing tendency to forsake the Word of God; to allow deception and misrule to usher in the reckless endangerment of humanity with a withdrawal from God; His abundant provision and blessings, and protective hedge being lowered.

In the Parable of the Vineyard; which later became a Parable of Judgment, it was noted: God planted a vineyard in a very fruitful hill; he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and made a winepress therein, and he looked that it bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes. His response: What could have  been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done?

Then came His judgment: I will take away the hedge thereof; and it shall be eaten up (consumed); and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden (trampled) down (Isaiah 5:1-6).  Are nations that once produced desired grapes now producing wild grapes by allowing ungodliness to reign?

Token Judgments

Wrath-of-God

The Psalmist revealed: He (God), being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity (sinfulness), and destroyed them not; yea, many a time turned he his answer away, and did not stir up all his wrath (Psalm 78:38).  We have ventured into the pre-Flood days of Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah; with possible token judgments rather than total destruction, as God seeks a return to Him.

Apostle Peter revealed: God spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; and turned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow (destruction), making them an example to those that afterward should live ungodly; and delivered just Lot (a righteous man) (2 Peter 2:5-7).

The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust to the Day of Judgment to be punished (2 Peter 2:9). The Psalmist both reflected on the reason that would necessity God's judgment as well as mercy being extended.

Day of the Lord

Apostle Peter revealed: The Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein, shall be turned up. Seeing that all these things shall be dissolved (destroyed), what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conversation (conduct) and godliness (2 Peter 3:10-11).

Nevertheless we (the believer in Christ) according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwells righteousness (2 Peter 3:13).  Seeing that you look for such things before (beforehand), beware lest you also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus (2 Peter 3:17-18).

Moral and Social
Decline

It was noted that if humanity continues to drift morally and socially during the next century as it did during the present one, we will sink into the abyss of total corruption and despair.  We are suffering from the corrosive immoral breath of the 21st century. The secularism, humanism, materialism, liberalism, and commercialism of our day have devastated our resources of security.

God having power and authority to create also has power and authority to destroy that which He creates.  This was shown by the Flood.  When humans become so evil, that every thought and imagination of the human mind and heart was only evil continually, God decided to destroy from the earth the humans He had created.  To give life and take away life are both within God's authority.

Scripture reveals: The integrity of the upright shall guide them; but the perverseness (deceit) of transgressors shall destroy them (Proverbs 11:3).  The wicked are overthrown and are not (no more); but the house of the righteous shall stand (Proverbs 12:8).  Reckless endangerment of humanity is failure to seek what is offered in those verses; salvation of the soul verses destruction.
