WORLD DOMINATION
INTRODUCTION
World domination is an exercising of control to dominate; not just within a certain sphere, but global domination involving economic, military, and geopolitical areas of control. Words such as a new world order, the great reset, build back better, progressives, and similar words give reference to global domination; a superiority of rule, setting standards for what is or is not allowed!
We are seeing a rising up of nations that are seeking world domination such as China, Russia, Turkey, North Korea, and Iran flexing their muscles to attain such a goal. They are seeking to end four centuries of Western dominance, with the establishment of a new world order, that would eliminate the power of other nations to resist.
World domination is defined as a global conquest, a power structure, either achieved or aspired to, in which the dominant player holds power over all or virtually all the inhabitants of the earth.
World Domination
Preventing its Spread
Christianity has played a significant role in preventing world domination with the spreading of the Gospel message. However, the Church has weakened its stand in allowing the intermingling of worldly attributes to stain its previously unblemished stand for the truths of God's Word.
It was noted that you cannot read too much in Scripture; and what you read carefully you cannot read too carefully, and what you understand you cannot teach too well, and what you teach you cannot live too well. The devil, the world, and our flesh is raging and raving against us. Therefore pray, read, study, and be diligent. This evil and shameful time is not the time for being lazy or sleeping (Martin Luther).
The Pulpit is Responsible
A legendary evangelist of the first Great Awakening, Charles G. Finney, stated: Brethren, our preaching will bear its legitimate fruits. If immorality prevails in the land, the fault is ours to a great degree. If there is a decay of conscience, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the church is degenerate and worldly, the pulpit is responsible for it.
If Satan rules in our halls of Justice, the pulpit is responsible for it. If our politics become so corrupt that the very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it. Let us not ignore this fact; but let us lay it to heart, and awake to our responsibility in respect to the morals of this nation.
Reeducation Camps
World domination seeks to influence or control, and exercise power in ruling. Similar words are: Balance of power, depriving of freedom, dictatorship, and enslavement. Dominate is to conquer, to be predominant and supreme.
We are seeing the rising up of nations seeking to gain power and authority; overriding weaker nations who are unable to adequately defend themselves, forcing their global domination and ideology upon others. Those who oppose such are placed in reeducation camps in order to indoctrinate them towards reconstructive thinking of the new order.
Failure to submit often leads to forced labor camps, denying of rights enjoyed when freedom existed or even death! Christianity is not encouraged in such nations; unless controlled.
A Social Gospel
Many nations have forfeited their rights due to allowing ungodliness to outweigh a once godly culture. A new social gospel is being introduced that enhances the worldliness being presented.
The Prophet Amos spoke of a time that the fruit of righteousness will be turned into hemlock (Amos 6:12). It is interesting to note that the word hemlock refers to a plant that poison is derived from. Poison infects or pollutes the body until injury, illness, or death results. It can be of a harmful influence such as will ruin, taint, inhibit, or embitter.
When this influence creeps into a church, oftentimes unawares, it creates a powerless church. A church of pomp, splendor, where true worship is taboo and sin no longer identified. Lives are without change or with little endurance if change occurs.
Corrosive Immoral Breath
It was noted that the nation is suffering from the corrosive immoral breath of the 21st century. The secularism, humanism, materialism, liberalism, and commercialism of our day have devastated our resources of security. The church has forfeited its power because of worldliness.
Paul Harvey noted: It has been said that churches that are old fashioned, must modernize, liberalize, rationalize, and compromise. Now we are gagging, choking, strangling on forbidden fruit. They mean well, but their intentions are paving the road to hell!
Modern Day Technology
World domination has been enhanced through modern day technology that brings a global confrontation at the touch of a button. People can readily be influenced by propaganda that is dressed towards acceptance. Christianity has been influenced in like manner; with just enough of God's Word to bring deception into the picture.
A poem entitled "The Church Waling with the World" by an unknown author noted such a deception: The Church and the World walked far apart on the changing shore of time. Come give your hand, said the merry World. But the good Church solemnly answered, Nay, I will not give you my hand and I will not walk with you; your way is the way of eternal death, and your words are all untrue.
Nay, walk with me a little space, said the World with a kindly air; the road I walk is a pleasant road, and the sun shines always there. Your way is narrow and thorny and rough, while mine is flowery and smooth. Half shyly the Church approached the World and gave him her hand. The false World grasped it, and walked along and whispered: Your preachers are all too old and plain. They frighten my children with dreadful tales that I do not like to hear. They talk of judgments, fire, pain, and the doom of the darkest night. They warn of a place that should not be spoken to ears polite!
I will send you some of a better stamp, more brilliant and fast, who will show how men may live as they please and go to heaven at last. So she called for pleasing, deemed gifted, and great, and learned; and the plain old men who had preached the cross were out of her pulpits turned.
Crushing of Christianity
World domination would love to crush Christianity that has not yielded over to the cultural changes of today. The spreading of the Gospel message is in direct opposition to a hate-filled criteria, with a will to dominate, rather than the love of Christ filling the heart of mankind.
World domination seeks to control the masses; taking away basic freedoms once enjoyed. However, the Psalmist wrote: The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein (Psalm 24:1). It was noted that the Creator and Sustainer of the earth is also the sovereign Controller of earth's history and mankind's destiny.
Gates of Hell
Shall not Prevail
Jesus, in reference to the church, revealed to Apostle Peter: You are called Peter, and upon this rock (foundation) I will build my church; and the gates of hell (opposing forces of evil) shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18). It was noted that those words place the church on the offensive and hell (the evilness of man) on the defensive.
Oftentimes, it seems as if the role has been reversed but God's Word is eternal and in the end will bear out its truths. World domination would like to alleviate the Church to gain its ultimate goal, which it will never do! It seems to have accomplished such in many nations but Christianity flourishes nevertheless!
Whole Armor of God
Apostle Paul encouraged the church to be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles (schemes) of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood (human efforts), but against principalities, against powers, against the rules of the darkness of this world (those seeking world domination), against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take (take up) to you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand (Ephesians 6:10-13). The whole armor of God consists of: Truth, Righteousness, Gospel of peace, Shield of faith, Helmet of salvation, Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God!
A Puppet Status
World domination was sought after by Hitler's Germany, and in other times in history, but all failed in the end. Domination seeks to destroy the will of man; making him as a puppet controlled by the puppeteer, to completely destroy any opposition.
We are seeing a power struggle today; towards world domination with many coming together in a pact or temporary agreement. World domination will not accept a lasting partnership because the goal of domination will not allow competition.
Seeking Change
of Godly Lifestyles
World domination seeks to change godly lifestyles into acceptance of ungodly ways; because with the withdrawal of such opens the door for more ungodliness. There is a movement today towards acceptance of the very traits that brought destruction upon Sodom and Gomorrah.
God's judgment may seem to be sleeping at the moment but for a reason: Apostle Peter noted: The heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word (as in the days of Noah) are kept in store, reserved unto fire against (until) the day of judgment and perdition (destruction) of ungodly men (2 Peter 3:7).
But the Lord is not slack concerning his promise (destruction of the ungodly), as some men count slackness: but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). In God's timing, the day of the Lord (His judgment) will come as a thief in the night (totally unexpected)!
