A world in chaos is due to different factions attempting to maneuver into a position of power. Chaos is a state of confusion and disorder which is purposely instituted to enhance takeover when people are not in one accord and purpose to oppose its continuation.
A chaotic condition strengthens the opposition’s power to set in motion world domination and eliminate any opposition that would threaten its authoritarian leadership.
A certain political leader made frequent use of Christian vocabulary. It was noted that he talked about the blessing of the Almighty and the Christian beliefs which would become the pillars of the new government. He spoke of spirituality to the press. He displayed his tattered Bible and declared that he drew the strength for his great work from it with many welcoming him as a man sent from God.
Who was this leader? It was Adolf Hitler. Tactics today that would destroy democracy follow a similar pattern that Hitler used to disunity Germany after gaining a worship and adoration attitude as its leader. He then systematically began to eliminate those who would not fit into his plan of world domination.
It was noted that the World suffers not because of the violence done by the wicked but because the righteous keep silence (Napoleon Bonaparte). Deception played into picture as in the case of Hitler who ushered in destructive measures after his agenda gained popularity. When opposition was presented it was quickly eliminated and so it is today; when total dependence and acceptance exists on what is being promoted!
Democracy which was strengthened after two World Wars is being threatened again; not only externally but internally as well! Thank God for those who stand for freedom; with those who have had freedom taken away understanding the necessity that it never happen again!
The religious world is not immune to ungodly practices to undermine a holy, undeniable, Christian heritage. A world in chaos helps usher in worldly infiltration of the church towards appeasement of body and fleshly desires.
Apostle Paul wrote to a church
at Corinth: What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God; as
God has said, I will dwell in them (the believer), and walk in them; and I will
be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them (ungodly influences), and be you
separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive
you (2 Corinthians 6:16-17).
A world in chaos is created when man attempts to dominate the scene rather than godliness; with the opposing forces desiring to unseat the church from its moral foundation (the Word of God); even the existence of God, if it could. As fleshly desires of man seek to dominate it has to first eliminate the influence of any apparatus that is in opposition; especially the church.
It was noted that there is a need to force Christianity within the four walls of the church and religious influence be eliminated through infiltration of the church, seminars, and divinity schools. We are seeing the progression of such with the stability of the church being threatened.
We are living in a very permissive day when the religious world is so tolerant to most any and all kinds of standards and lifestyles. It was noted that this permissiveness and tolerance is the result of a self-willed and carnal minded society. As a result of such tolerance and permissiveness, there are many churches, and even denominations, which have altered their teachings, their standards, and even their interpretations of the Scriptures to please, to comply with and accommodate this permissive and tolerant society.
Very few people this day hold to their heart’s convictions; they change to blend in with their environment. Those words address a similar condition of a progressive cultural drift, in the church, instead of its being anchored in the Unadulterated (Pure) Word of God, without compromise.
The Church, through threatened by forces both without and within, will stand! Jesus said to Apostle Peter (a representative of the church), you are Peter, and upon this rock (foundation) I will build my church; and the gates of Hell (opposing forces of evil) shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18). Forces of opposition, have consistently opposed the Church; but at the same time growth of Christianity has increased, even by those who defy its existence.
A question was asked: Which will it be Christian Biblical values or totally secular values? We are in a crucial moment of acceptance of secular values without reference to God. Deception (a tool of Satan and his cohorts) is and always has been to deceive the very elect; were it possible. It will take the mighty hand of God; His precious Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and God’s Spirit to withstand the opposing forces of evil!
Apostle John wrote: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him (1 John 2:15). It was noted that the term world, in this verse, does not refer to the world of people, nor the created world, but the evil world order controlled by Satan, and his cohorts. Christians are a necessity in the world (as light in the midst of darkness), but not to embrace their ways, attitudes, and worldly spirit that is in opposition to God’s Word.
Apostle Paul
wrote: Be not conformed to the world; but be transformed by the renewing of
your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect,
will of God (Romans 12:2). Be not
conformed is to resist being poured into the present day thinking, value
systems, and conduct of this world.
A world in chaos only encourages those seeking to disrupt the normality of life; as they present what is perceived as a better world with such names as Socialism and Marxism, cousins of Communism; Critical Race Theory (CRT), the Great Reset Plan instituted by the World Economic Forum (WEF); Diversity, Equity, and inclusion (DEI); to name but a few that would capitalize on a world in chaos setting.
It was noted Socialism is the religion that seeks to overcome Christianity. Socialism seeks to triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches, and the media, by transforming the consciousness of society. One person noted: What comes to pass is not so much because a few people want it to happen, but because of the mass of citizens who fail in their responsibility and let things be.
A world in chaos is being ushered in through many factions to takeover godly precepts by replacing them with enhanced agenda that promises much but delivers little. There is an erosion today that is not being noticed by a younger generation. Such an example was revealed by the Prophet Ezra in the building of the second temple of God: When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, they set priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites with cymbals, to praise the Lord (Ezra 3:10).
But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men (older) that had seen the first house (temple) laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many (who had not) shouted aloud for joy. So that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people; for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard far off (Ezra 3:12-13).
It was noted that it had been 50 years since the first temple had been destroyed, and many of the older men (ancient) who had seen the first temple wept because of the sorrowful contrast. Prophet Haggai wrote: Who is left among you that saw this house (temple) in her first glory? And how so you see it now? Is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing (Haggai 2:3)?
Noah H. Mack, in a sermon titled “Little Foxes” noted: This writer with much interest and prayer observed the movements and efforts of the church for more than thirty-five years; all this while it has developed a great power to work, but almost as fast as she grows in efficiency for labor she drifts into worldliness in one way or another and all because of fostered pride and love of pleasure.
Those who have been responsible for the housekeeping in the church has not been watchful enough and let the little foxes creep into the vineyard and now they are so numerous and big that they cannot be driven out by ordinary methods of teaching and warning, for they well-nigh have possession of the vineyard.
A world in chaos, even within the church, should open the eyes of those being affected by it; of those seeking to reprogram the mind towards acceptance rather than rejection! A walking away, to satisfy one’s own desires, creates chaos rather than unity. Jesus said: If a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand (Mark 3:25).
There are assurances in God’s Word that outweigh a world in chaos endorsement. Apostle Paul wrote: The grace of God brings salvation (through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ) has appeared to all men, teaching us, that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world (Titus 2:11-12). Beware lest any man spoil you (take you captive) through vain (empty) deceit, after (according to) the rudiments (basic principles) of the world, and not after (according to) Christ (Colossians 6:17).
Apostle Peter wrote: The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust (ungodly) to the Day of Judgment to be punished (2 Peter 2:9). In a world of chaos one’s dependence should be aligned with the Word of God, not man’s devising, in all matters of life. Flirtation with the world only ensures a withdrawing from godly instruction.
