THE GREAT DECEPTION
INTRODUCTION
The great deception is full steam ahead with many ignorant to its destructive nature; beginning in the Garden of Eden and continuing today. Scripture reveals: The fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall touch it, lest you die. And the serpent said to the woman (Eve), you shall not surely die (Genesis 3:3-4).
And when the woman (Eve) saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired of to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also to her husband (Adam) with her; and he did eat (Genesis 3:6).
The Great Deception
Deceiving the Whole World
Scripture reveals: That old serpent, called the Devil, which deceives the whole world: he was cast into (to) the earth, and his angels were cast out with him (Revelation 12:9). Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea for the devil is come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time (Revelation 12:12).
As previously mentioned deception has always been the makeup of the world, since that eventful day in the Garden of Eden, when disobedience came into the world and changed the nature of man. Deception came through the serpent which Scripture reveals was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made (Genesis 3:1).
Control the World
The great deception came into play through a devilish desire to control the world; with one such effort being through Marxism and Socialism, cousins of Communism. It was noted that the tools necessary to control the masses would be the media, education, and environmentalism; three areas being pursued today.
Triumph will come by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches, and the media, towards transforming the consciousness of society. It will be through wealthy, and powerful elite, to maintain control of lower classes and protect their ideologies until the lower class come to accept them as normal and even desirable.
Goals to Infiltrate
It was noted that desired goals to infiltrate the present culture includes: Eliminate prayer in school, discredit family as an institution, control the schools as tools for promote desired agenda, break down cultural standards of morality, detach the culture from any moral anchors whatsoever, infiltrate the churches, and replace revealed religion with social religion.
The great deception towards world domination is using the same tactic Hitler used to disunify Germany; first create chaos, then step in with the solution. We are seeing a repeat of this process to usher out Capitalism and tune in Socialism!
Policies to Deceive
Deception is to institute misleading falsehoods; the act of deceiving, a person skilled in deception and addicted to deceit with a view towards an unlawful gain or advantage. The term "great" is that of a major significance or importance, lengthened in duration, and endowed with extraordinary powers.
We are seeing the advancement of the great deception because of the forces behind it! Its implementation of policies to deceive and gain control are being played out with amazing acceptability by the general public who can see nothing beyond their own livelihood; which if threatened brings a reaction but otherwise their slogan is: Let people live as they choose!
Cultural Strength
of Yesteryear
Gross immorality has been placed on the plate of acceptance; which is part of the great deception to undo the cultural strength of yesteryear which was spiritual and of godly leadership. There has been an insertion of ungodly lifestyles that fits into the plan of a cultural reverse (cancel culture).
The church has not been excluded from the great deception. It was noted that things which once shocked Christians are now commonplace. There is much that does not disturb the church like it once did. Many Christians have been lulled into believing that all it well (part of the great deception). There may be small victories, a revival here, a church going a good work there, but where is the moral outrage necessary to petition God for a new reformation or another great awakening?
Foundation Laid for
New Temple
In the rebuilding of the temple in Ezra's day, Scripture reveals: Many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house (temple), when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice: and many shouted aloud with joy: so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people: for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard far off (Ezra 3:12-13).
It had been about 50 years since the first temple had been destroyed and many of the older men (ancient men) who had seen the earlier buildings wept now because of the sorrowful contrast in comparison. The Prophet Haggai asked: Who among you that saw this house (temple) in her first glory? And now do you see it now? Is it not in your eyes in comparison of it, as nothing (Haggai 2:3)?
The great deception has played into focus concerning the church. In its earlier years it endeared itself to the richness of the Unadulterated (Pure) Word of God (the first temple concept); but has allowed worldly influences to infiltrate the church, removing strict adherence to the Word of God (the second temple concept).
Permissive and Tolerant
Society
It was noted that we are living in a very permissive day when the religious world is so tolerant to most any and all kinds of standards and lifestyles. This permissiveness and tolerance is the result of a self-willed and carnal minded society. As a result there are many churches, and dominations, which have altered their teachings, there standards, and even their interpretations of the Scriptures, to please, to comply with and accommodate this permissive and tolerant society.
Very few people this day hold to their heart's convictions; they change to blend in with their environment. Both of these foster the building of the second temple concept (previously mentioned); having lost sight of of the splendor of the first! Those of the younger generation are shouting for joy; not realizing what has been lost (having never tasted of the former); thus losing out on the grass roots of Christianity.
Promises that Lead
to Enslavement
Scripture reveals: Take heed to yourselves that your heart be not deceived and you turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them (Deuteronomy 11:16). It was noted that the people were not to be deceived by the examples set by nations round about them, nor turn aside from the living and true God.
The great deception towards control of the masses promises great gain but enacts enslavement; offering the fruit of deception, as in the Garden of Eden, until one finds out too late the cost of partaking!
Right Bait Offered
If one partakes of the great deception; such as: A New Word Order, The Great Reset, Build Back Better, Progressive, and similar titles, they will find themselves deceived by the brightness and allurement of what is being offered.
I read an article concerning catching a raccoon by placing a small barred box that is staked to the ground. The raccoon will reach his paw into the box to get the foil, but once it has grasped it, his paw changes shape and will not fit back through the bars of the box.
The raccoon would rather give up its freedom, and perhaps its life, just for the sake of a shiny but useless piece of foil used as the right bait to lure him. Scripture reveals: There is a way which seems right to a man; but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12).
Laying Snares Secretly
The Psalmist wrote: There is no faithfulness (uprightness) in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness (destruction); their throat is an open sepulcher (tomb); they flatter with their tongue (Psalm 5:9). They encourage themselves in an evil manner: they commune (talk) of laying snares privily (secretly); they say, who shall see them (Psalm 64:5).
It was noted that there is no faithfulness in the mouth of the ungodly; there is no steadfastness in them (accept to accomplish their intended goal), nothing one could depend upon; though promises are abundant, to carry out their criteria.
They strengthened and hardened themselves in their plot to deceive; conversing together, consulting how to accomplish their goals; how to lay the necessary snares in a private manner. However, they are not so private now, as the great deception plan becomes more bold in its proclamations!
Let No Man Deceive
You
Apostle Paul wrote: Let no man deceive you with vain (empty) words: for because of these things come the wrath of God upon the children (sons) of disobedience. Be you not therefore partakers with them (Ephesians 5:6-7).
This was a warning about deceivers who lay in wait to deceive with vain pretenses (the great deception); with a danger of being carried away with their deception, taken in by their promises! Apostle Peter wrote: Seeing you know these things before (beforehand), beware lest you also, being led away with the error the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness (2 Peter 3:17)!
