Sin that is Flourishing
Sin is flourishing in America and other nations. Sin is the transgression of God's divine law beginning with the sin of Adam. Man has taken it upon himself to justify sin, to suit his own purpose, rather than abide in God's divine Word. Sin has so dominated our land that it has become acceptable with no sense of shame. Its as if one has an eraseable Bible to suit their own fancy and lifestyle.
Man has taken it upon himself to disassociate from the Holy Word of God. Many churches in America have changed their bylaws to suit the fancy of the people rather than live up to the Unadultrated (or pure) Word of God.
God's Watchman
God has His watchmen sounding the alarm but man has become indifferent to the warnings issued. Man is attempting to camouflage the Word of God to suit His own desired walk. God's Word clearly identifies those things that would keep a person out of the kingdom of heaven (Galatians 5:19-21) but man continues to justify those things which suit his own taste.
Living together, outside wedlock, though condemned by God's Word, is becoming a norm in our society. Homosexuality, again condemned by God's Word, is edging itself into a society that is beginning to embrace its message of acceptance. Modesty is being cast aside towards the appeasement of the flesh, again condemned by God's Word, but it is as a cancerous growth that spreads with disastrous results. Deception, Satan's greatest tool, is in the forefront rather than the Unadultrated Word of God. Churches are embracing a leisure regard towards the required walk that is stated in God's Word.
Defection from the Truth
The apostle Paul told a young evangelist named Timothy to preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. Watch in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry (2 Timothy 4:2-5).
If Paul were here today, and laid this same charge to our present day ministers, how many would take heed? Many today tell people what they want to hear, not what they need to hear. Preaching the God-ordained word prevents defection from the truth. Paul told Timothy to fully do the work of an evangelist by preaching the gospel in its unadulterated (or pure) state.
Let the Word of God be preached in its entirety; to be proclaimed throughout this land. Let conviction flow once again and this nation be uplifted in truth as "One Nation Under God!"
